Butenafine – topical cream: Precaution

Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to any of the active ingredients of butenafine; or to allylamine antifungals (e.g., naftifine, terbinafine); or if you have any other allergies. Tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: athlete’s foot on the bottom/side of the foot.

During pregnancy, this medication should be used only when clearly needed. It is not known whether this drug passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding….
