Atralin: Indications

Atralin is a tretinoin, a topical form of vitamin A that helps the skin renew itself. This medication is used to treat acne. It works by decreasing the number and severity of acne pimples and promote quick healing of pimples that do develop and by affecting the growth of skin cells.

Use this medication on the skin only. Do not apply to the inner lip area or inside the nose/mouth, to cut, scraped, sunburned, or eczema-affected skin. Use Atralin as your doctor directed and use it regularly in order to get the most benefit from it….

Atralin: Side Effects

Signs of an allergic reaction include: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat; blistering, crusting, severe burning/swelling of the skin, eye redness and watering (conjunctivitis), eyelid swelling. Seek medical care if any of these occur.

Less serious side effects are;burning, warmth, stinging, tingling, itching, redness, swelling, dryness, peeling, irritation, or discolored skin. If any of these persist or worsen, call your doctor….

Atralin: Precaution

Before using this medicine inform your doctor if you have any type of allergies. Tell your doctor if you are using other medicine and your medical history.

Atralin may make you more sensitive to the sun, therefore use a sunscreen daily, and wear protective clothing when outdoors. While using this product avoid electrolysis, waxing and chemical depilatories for hair removal on the treated areas.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended to use this medicine without your doctor advice….
