Diprolene: Indications

Diprolene /betamethasone is a synthetic corticosteroid that is used topically. It reduces the swelling, itching, and redness that can occur in a variety of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, allergies, or rash.

Apply Diprolene on your dry and clean skin, as directed by your doctor for your condition. This product is for skin only, avoid use it on the face, groin, or underarms or for diaper rash unless needed….

Diprolene: Side Effects

Common side effects caused by Diprolene are: skin redness, burning, itching, or peeling; thinning of your skin; blistering skin; or tretch marks. If any of these persist or worsen, call your doctor.

An allergic reaction – rash, itching, difficulty breathing, closing of the throat, swelling of the lips, tongue, or face, or hives; blurred vision, or seeing halos around lights; uneven heartbeats; mood changes; sleep problems (insomnia); weight gain, puffiness in your face; or feeling tired, are all serious symptoms witch need medical help as soon as you notice them….

Diprolene: Precaution

Before using this medicine inform your doctor if you have any allergies; poor blood circulation, immune system problems, certain skin conditions if using the gel such as rosacea, or perioral dermatitis. Do not use Diprolene if there is an infection or sore present in the area to be treated.

Used for prolonged time can cause slow growth in children. During pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended to use this medicine without your doctor’s advice….
